Fortune Pink Depression Glass Bowl
Want to find your fortune? This nice little bowl is Fortune pink depression glass from Hocking. No, it’s not going to make you rich but it might make you happy!
Hocking Glass made a few patterns for many many years, like Cameo or Block Optic, that came in several colors and a wide selection of pieces. Hocking made other patterns for short periods and in only one or two colors and just a few pieces. Fortune is in the latter group.
You can set a lunch table with Fortune but there is no dinner plate, no creamer or sugar. There is only one serving piece, a medium size bowl and only one accessory, a covered candy. One odd point is the most prevalent pieces are the tumbler and the little bowls – just the pieces that are usually less common in other depression glass patterns.
Fortune is pretty and the pink is a lovely color, soft and cheerful. No, you won’t get rich with it, but that pretty pink sure makes you smile!
