Today instead of writing about glass I just wanted to look at it and admire the beautiful patterns and entrancing colors. So I decided that’s what we’ll do with this post, show some of the prettiest green glass table settings.
Are you ready for some serious eye candy?
First up is Cameo from Hocking Glass. Love that pattern and the green color is exquisite. It looks great on my vintage cloth.
Next is Lorain from Indiana. I don’t have so much of this in stock, just a few plates and cups. It’s a lovely design with a basket of flowers and the pieces are scalloped squares.
This table spices the gorgeous green Georgian Lovebirds glass with blue Moderntone. The blue adds coolness, so welcome these hot summer days. I love this color combination and experimented with combining several patterns. I liked the tables that mixed a few pieces of blue with mostly green. The ones that were mostly blue were too much.
Here’s a table with green Georgian all by itself. It’s a wonderful pattern, one of my favorites. Unfortunately this didn’t photograph well.
This is Florentine Poppy from Hazel Atlas. Hazel Atlas used the lovely Poppy on two shapes and almost all these pieces are the number 2 shape with round plates. Another photo that is not so good. It took me a while to figure out how to photograph tables full of colored depression glass.
Which one do you like best?
