Aurora Cobalt Blue Depression Glass Creamer

This is one of the few patterns that made in this vibrant cobalt blue during the depression years of the 1930s. If you like cobalt blue transparent glass then look for patterns from Hazel Atlas including Moderntone, Royal Lace, New Century and Aurora.
Royal Lace is mold etched with lacy flowers; Moderntone has horizontal lines with art deco styling and both Aurora and New Century have vertical panels. Aurora has horizontal bands on top the vertical panels and New Century has horizontal bands through the panels plus the shapes are different.
Of these Aurora is among the least expensive and Royal Lace is at the high end. That makes Aurora a good choice for you who like blue glassware.
