Happy Tablescape Thursday! It’s hard to believe a whole week has gone by since Thanksgiving.
A few weeks ago I showed Noritake Shasta china with green depression glass – not a happy pairing. The colors were wrong. The result gave me a better idea: Pair the flowered china dinnerware with the flower etched Monongah Secretaries Primrose crystal.
Here is a link to the old post. Big improvement?
I like the combination of flowers.
Here’s another view. The centerpiece bowl has more big flowers, wild roses maybe? This is Coronet from Tiffin Glass and it goes well with the other pieces.
Here’s a close up of part of the bowl and the dinnerware. What type of flowers are these?
Here are a couple more pictures for you.
The Noritake china is a little subdued. I love how the etched crystal sparkles in the light and brings out the pretty flower design on the soup bowl.
Another view.
This last picture doesn’t do the glass and china justice but you can see how nice everything looks together. Do you see Amanda May on the chair in the corner? She slept all through the picture taking!
Thank you to Susan from Between Naps on the Porch for hosting this fun event.
