Do you know the saying “It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”? It’s a good way to live.
Somehow that is what crossed my mind when I saw this candle holder today. Normally I don’t get too profound with glass – it is after all beautiful memories. But this piece just glows with light and that sweeping curve makes you want to reach for the candles and matches and bring light to gloom days.
This is Fostoria’s Baroque two-light candle holder with the Navarre etch. Baroque candle holders all have some element of this up swept glass and flared curves. Can you imagine how this will look on a dinner table with a flower arrangement? Elegant. Choice. Sparkling with light and life.

If you are reading this on the blog site you may have noticed the blog re-do. (You cannot miss the bright orange and snazzy photo show.) The company that is upgrading this for me submitted their final design last Friday and should complete work this week. It will be an improvement with easier navigation and pull down menus to find posts that interest you. Thank you for your patience.
