Today’s a retrospective of three tables using American Sweetheart soft white depression glass. American Sweetheart is exquisite, lots of scrolls and swags, scalloped rims and the most glorious pure thin white glass.
Which table do you like better?
First one combines American Sweetheart with pink Windsor. This table looked so-so on a cloth but nice enough on the polished wood table. The two depression glass patterns are quite a contrast.

The next one is American Sweetheart with Jeannette Swirl in ultramarine with Fostoria Lido crystal stemware.

Last is one of the first tables I did after joining Susan’s blog party. The stemware is amethyst Flair by Czechoslovakia Crystal with an amethyst comport from Cambridge Glass. This one doesn’t appeal to me. It looks better in person than in the photo.

My thanks to Susan from Between Naps on the Porch for hosting this fun event.
You can see how versatile American Sweetheart is. The pretty white looks good with other colors or by itself. Like any white dinnerware it is happiest with a few spots of color.
Please leave a comment and let me know which one you like.
