Today was a big day for Dave and me. We bought some gold trimmed Cambridge Rose Point stemware and a house. Neither of these is pink so let me show you one of the pink Fostoria elegant depression glass pieces we have.
This is the Fairfax pink elegant depression glass small relish by Fostoria.
Fostoria was right on trend during their heyday in the 1930s to 1960s and that meant they served up beautiful colored glass during the depression era. Fairfax was one of Fostoria’s most successful blanks and they issued it in all of their colors, including rose pink.
This is the small divided dish, which we would use for a small relish tray. It’s a good size when you don’t want a mammoth relish dish on the table, only about 8 1/2 inches long.
Thanks for visiting our Pink Saturday pink depression glass post this week, and as always a big thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for organizing this fun event. Please be sure to visit the other bloggers to see how pink we can be.
