Several months ago I ‘fessed up to my my secret vice, collecting the cute little animal planters from the 1950s. Since then our son Edmund gave me the darling frog planter plus two yellow chicks for my birthday. The frog is on a lily pad with a pink flower – thus perfect for Pink Saturday.

This week out of the blue one of my Facebook friends sent me the darling bunny as a thank you for helping her identify glass. I was glad to help her and stunned that she remembered my hobby and was so thoughtful and generous. Isn’t he cute? He has a dark rose pink ear – also perfect for Pink Saturday.
This weekend as we look towards Thanksgiving I want to say thank you to Edmund and Susan for their generous assistance towards my collection. I treasure these little guys.
