Dave bought me this set at a depression glass show to use for cheese and crackers. In fact it is a marriage of a cracker plate with a two-handled bon bon from a different line but who cares? It’s beautiful!
If you are like me, you don’t serve soft cheese – a spread or cheese ball – with crackers all that often. But now consider all the other foods you may serve that need both a bowl and a plate. Vegetable snacks with dip. Heck, potato chips and dip! Fruit and caramel, pretzels and chocolate.
I had friends over for a coffee and peony afternoon and served strawberries with Sanders dipping chocolate. This set worked perfectly!
