Today is a sad story of three orphans, three pieces of mixed green depression glass. One may be a Jeannette Hex Optic green tumbler, one is Federal Thumbprint Optic saucer and one is like Hex Optic but is a mystery green tumbler. These are the possible Hex Optic tumblers.

Jeannette Glass started mass producing glass in the 1920s, using new equipment and techniques. Jeannette started Hex Optic in 1928 as one of their first mass-produced patterns, made in green and pink and later re-issued in iridescent. Different sized tumblers are shaped differently, notice the curvy sides of the green 9 ounce tumblers and the straight shape that the larger iced teas have. (The different shapes are why I’m unsure whether my second tumbler is Hex Optic.)
I don’t know much about Federals Thumbprint Optic pattern as it’s not well-documented. Luckily the saucer has the F Federal mark!
