Last post we showed a few of the wonderful variety of Swanky Swigs you can find. These cute little tumblers originally held Kraft cheese spreads, then reused and enjoyed ever since.
Last post we showed some of the lovely cornflower designs; Hazel Atlas used several more flower decoration, from tulips to daffodils, violets and daisies. I only have photos of a few of these, there are so many more to find!
This simple line design of red forget me nots is one of the earliest Swanky Swigs. Look for the same design in light and dark blue, and yellow. They must have used excellent materials to silk screen these (or else everyone has been super careful) because I’ve seen very few with any wear.
Here is the yellow version.
And the blue.
Tulips bloom on Swanky Swigs too! This is also among the earlier decorations.
Those tulips sure stand straight! Here is a curvy tulip design.
I love daffodils!
These violets are beautiful.
Last style to see today is band of daisies. I love to use the ones we have.
Next time we’ll show a few of the kiddie cup designs.
