This is really an unfair comparison! This week’s tablescape is a vignette of two serving pieces, both center handled serving trays, both Fostoria Glass, both etched with ribbons, bows and pretty flower bouquets. Which one do you like better?
What a dilemma! When you go to a lunch that serves dessert – in this case mouth watering fudge – and different breads – in this case made-from-scratch cornbread – what do you do? Do you fill your plate with the goodies (and no, I don’t mean the salads) or are you well-behaved and take some of the breads (and the salads and the cheese and the…) and then watch your fellow guests eat all the fudge before you get some?
Do you give into temptation?
Or are you good?
Yesterday we had a contest to see which of the two glass center handled servers won. Today it’s a bit more difficult because you need to consider the contents on the servers. So…. Vote please! Which wins? Fudge on Fostoria June etched topaz yellow? Or cornbread on Fostoria Romance etched crystal?
